Privacy Policy

Petit Massage & Rituals is operated by Maegan Doolittle Studios LLC, based in West Hollywood, California. We provide in-room massage treatments to guests of the Petit Ermitage hotel. This policy explains what information we collect when you book with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. "We" and "us" in this policy mean Maegan Doolittle Studios LLC, doing business as Petit Massage & Rituals.

What we collect

  • Contact details: your name, mobile number and email address.
  • Booking details: your hotel room number, the treatment, date and time you request, and how you heard about us.
  • Health and consent information: the answers you give on our intake form, such as areas of focus, pressure preference, injuries, conditions and allergies, and your signed Client Safety Agreement and Health Waiver.
  • Messages and calls: the text messages you exchange with our booking line, and recordings of calls to it.
  • Payment information: card payments are taken by our payment processor. We see the last four digits and the status of a payment. We do not store full card numbers.

How we use it

  • To confirm availability, book your appointment and send you confirmations, reminders and receipts.
  • To prepare your therapist so the treatment is safe and suited to you.
  • To take your deposit and settle your balance.
  • To tell the hotel front desk that a therapist is coming to your room, so they can be let in.
  • To keep the records a wellness business is required to keep, and to handle questions or complaints.

Our booking line may be answered by an automated assistant, by text or by voice. It will say so. Calls may be recorded for quality and for our records.

Text messages

If you text our booking line, or tell us by phone that we may text you, we will send you messages about your booking only: confirmations, a payment and consent link, a policy reminder, and a receipt. We do not send marketing messages. Message frequency varies with your booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop messages, or HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers and text message consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.

Who sees your information

  • Your therapist receives your first name, room number, appointment time, and the intake answers relevant to your treatment.
  • The hotel front desk is told the room number, the appointment time and the therapist's first name. They are not given your health information.
  • Service providers who run our scheduling, payment, messaging and phone systems process information on our behalf and only to provide those services to us.
  • Authorities, if the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept for as long as tax and business law requires. Intake and consent forms are kept for at least four years after your last treatment. Text messages and call recordings are kept for up to two years. After that they are deleted or made anonymous.

Your choices

  • Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages from us.
  • Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. We will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.
  • If you are a California resident you have the right to know, correct and delete your personal information, and the right not to be treated differently for using those rights.

Security

We limit access to your information to the people who need it to deliver your treatment, and we use established providers for scheduling, payments and messaging. No system is perfectly secure; if something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
