What Is Bodywork?

This work is practiced with discretion, precision, and deep respect for the body’s intelligence.

It is not designed for volume, visibility, or explanation.

It is designed for those who understand that real change requires presence.

Precision Pain Release . Restoration . Structural Balance

Precision Pain Release . Restoration . Structural Balance

I began this journey rooted in nature. Growing up surrounded by animals, trees, plants, and flowers shaped something profound in me—it grounded me, connected me to myself, and gave me an innate sense of harmony with the world around me.

At the same time, my upbringing taught me a different kind of awareness. I grew up in a household where much was left unspoken. As an only child in a space that carried tension, I learned to read what wasn’t being said. I became deeply attuned to energy, body language, and emotional nuance—understanding how people communicate beyond words.

There were several defining influences that guided my path. As a second-generation practitioner, I was introduced to massage therapy at just eight years old, when my mother created one of the first in-home self-care massage therapy videotapes. That early exposure planted a seed that would continue to grow throughout my life.

Another pivotal moment came when I moved to Venice Beach in California, where I immersed myself in a vibrant artistic community. The street life, the dancers, the culture—it was raw, expressive, and deeply alive.

I witnessed people moving with freedom, fully connected to their bodies and their energy.

That environment profoundly inspired me and expanded my understanding of expression and vitality.

I was also fortunate to learn from extraordinary masters. I studied under the legendary Katherine Dunham, a pioneer of intercultural dance and a recipient of the Kennedy Honors. Through the Dunham Technique, she revealed how movement carries history, culture, and identity—how the body itself becomes a language. As her student, I learned how every part of us is interconnected, and how dance brings together our stories—our pain, our hopes, our humanity—into a unified expression.

I further developed this understanding studying with Dunham master teacher Ned Williams Jr. in New York City. There, I learned the discipline of the body, its anatomy, and what happens when it is pushed under stress and challenge in the pursuit of art.

All of these experiences converged and led me to my work in massage therapy.

At its core, what I teach is healing—helping people understand how to create alignment within their bodies, whether they are in pain, in need of rest, recovery, or deeper restoration.

My work is intuitive. It’s healing through the medium of touch.

For over 25 years, I’ve been refining this craft, and I specialize in working with individuals who are deeply committed to their path—artists, performers, and public figures. These are people who push themselves, who live with intention and passion, and who inspire others through their dedication to their work.

Precision Pain Release

Targeted Deep Tissue | Structural Resolution

An intimate form of deep work guided by listening rather than force.

Tension is followed slowly through layers of tissue until its true origin is revealed, then released with deliberate care.

Touch is intentional. Breath directed.

Relief that feels intelligent, and remains long after the session ends.

Restoration

Nervous System Reset | Deep Replenishment

A return to stillness.

This modality invites the nervous system to soften and settle, allowing the body to enter a state of profound rest.

Clients often experience a sense of lightness, emotional openness, and a gentle euphoria.

Structural Balance

Postural Alignment | Site-Specific Relief

Thoughtful, corrective work that restores harmony to the body’s architecture.
